Hi, Guys here we have a vintage Sony transistor portable” handheld” Radio broadcast receiver made in the year 1983, it was made in Malaysia by the Sony Corporation.  The main principle is Super-Heterodyne (Super in general) It is powered by 6Volts ( 4  AA 1.5v  Batteries).  

It has a Permanent Magnet Dynamic (PDyn) Loudspeaker (moving coil) / Ø 5 cm = 2 inch Power out.          It is made with modern plastic, and the dimensions are 6.1 x 3.1 x 1.5 inch 15.5 cm x 7.5 cm by 3.7 cm This Radio was bought in a charity shop and works fine just a small piece of plastic missing from the Arial holder clip.

Hi, Guys here we have the Ultra Vintage Radio Model T671, Broadcast Receiver  made in 1954 by Ultra Electric LTD London. It has the following Valves and Tubes:        5: 6C9_UK 6F15 6LD20 6P25 UU9.

The main principles are Super-Heterodyne (Super in general) and broadcasts in Long Wave and Short Wave. It is powered by  (AC)  Alternating Current supply 200-250 volts.  This one in the picture is not working as yet, my biggest problem is the damaged potentiometer (on/off Switch  “ I hope that’s the right term, as I am just starting out in this electronic world” the plastic part where the knob fits on too has gone.( see below) As you can see it’s in bad condition, but that’s all part of the fun trying to fix it.
